La Laguna Reserva is a STACKS favourite. It is grown amongst pineapples, lemons and plantains in the heart of the Colombia Cacuca region. The co-operative farm comprising of 24 indigenous groups have laboured for 6 years to cultivate a bean that stands out as one of the best coffees in South America. It has the perfect balance between acidity, fruitiness and richness – truly addictive.
PALLET
This brew is smooth, sweet and juicy. The bold fruity flavours are balanced by rich nutty/ chocolate notes. The coffee also brews a particularly smooth and creamy espresso. This coffee cannot be underrated.
PAIR
With great conversation. Or more specifically, biscotti, avocado, fresh fruit and pastry.

PROFILE Can coffee be ‘woke’? If so, then Cafe Femenino (grown, processed and traded exclusively by women) is! This phenomenal project began in Peru and is committed to ending the cycle of poverty afflicting female coffee farmers. This earthy coffee not only tastes good, but it is literally life changing.
PALLET We roast this coffee to a medium profile to bring out its rich cocoa and dark fruit notes. This coffee has lots of sweet undertones of dried fruit with balanced acidity and hits of spice.
PAIR Binge watching The Handmaid's Tale, Or more specifically, dark chocolate, a cheese board, shakshuka eggs and toast.

PROFILE Think of La Bastilla as the delectably dissonant member of our coffee collection. What makes La Bastilla truly distinctive is the unique way in which it is processed. After picking, the coffee beans are left to ferment inside the cherry for up to 3 weeks. The beans are veritably saturated with fruit sugars to produce a challenging and exciting cup.
PALLET This coffee stands out for all the right reasons. Upon the first sip you are hit with juicy tropical fruit, followed by a malty, boozy kick. Intrigued?
PAIR With Jazz. Or more specifically french toast, fruit loaf, nuts and tropical fruit.

PROFILE This coffee has some serious sustainability street cred. The COCAFELOL CO-OP is considered one of the most environmentally friendly growers in the world, producing triple certified coffees (Organic, Fairtrade & Rainforest Alliance). They are also keen to promote ethical farming amongst other cooperatives and have raised the standard of coffee in Central America.
PALLET This coffee is clean and balanced with a caramel like sweetness. You might detect notes of milk chocolate, oats and a subtle acidity in the background.
PAIR With a reusable mug. Or more specifically, donuts, Cheerios, ice-cream and BBQ’s.

PROFILE Peaberry has a unique genesis. While most coffee beans are ‘twins’, growing in pairs inside one cherry. The Peaberry is an only child, developing as a single small oval bean inside one fruit. This uncommon phenomena produces coffee that has an intensely rich flavour and brews a moreish cup. Comfort coffee at its finest.
PALLET The Peaberry has a distinctly rich mocha flavour. One can detect notes of cocoa and almond, cut through with clean fruity acidity.
PAIR With a busy work schedule for more than just a caffeine kick. Or more specifically with baked treats, chocolate, pancakes and sandwiches.

Wonderfully balanced. This was my first taste of Stacks coffee, and it did not disappoint. Clean, light and fruity, but with a lovely undertone of cocoa. I can’t imagine anyone turning up their nose at a cup of this.
